SYDNEY
Denis Simpson
Denis is a regular to all Sydney and NSW provincial race
meetings. He has worked with many of Sydney's top bookmakers
as a form analyst. He is a keen punter and specialises at
the provincials and Sydney midweeks.
Denis has been with Bet-Busters since 1996 and in 2002 became
the publication's No. 1 tipster on Sydney meetings.
From correspondence we have received, many followers regard
Denis as our best tipster due to his consistency in finding
good-priced winners.
An example of this was in April 2003 at a Canterbury
midweek meeting. Four punters contacted our office and
told us of backing the quadrella on the Victorian TAB, for
a dividend just under $12,000. The punters had coupled
Denis's selections to strike the huge booty. The reason
for the massive payout was in one leg his third pick
and best roughie "Jo See" paid $68.00 for the
win.

Peter Ellis
Peter has two great loves - keeping fit and backing winners.
Peter is by far and large the best tipster on Victorian
races, because he works so hard to keep ahead of bookmakers.
He keeps his own database on all Victorian and South Australian
meetings by reviewing every TAB meeting on video. He spends
more than 25 hours per week with his reviews so it is no
wonder he regularly tips double-priced winners.
A good system with Peter is to couple his Melbourne and
Adelaide selections in multiples. It is surprising how often
he will find a $500 plus trifecta.
BRISBANE
Mick Dolan
Mick is a former top rails bookmaker in Brisbane so he has
been around the punt all his life. When he retired as a
bagman, he became a keen punter. He gets a great thrill
by tipping winners in Bet-Busters.
PERTH
Bill Bovington
Bill is a freelance journalist in Perth specialising in
the thoroughbred industry. Bill has a great following in
the Eastern States because there is so little information
available from the West. A good system with Bill is coupling
his selections in the Daily and Extra doubles.
TOOWOOMBA
Kevin McSweeney
There is no keener punter than Kev.
He works hard at reviewing all the race meetings in his
area, including Gold Coast and metropolitan meetings. He
has a big following on the Toowoomba twilight meetings.
Our suggestion is couple his selections in multiples.
TROTTING
Warwick Barr
Warwick had tough shoes to fill when he took over from Wayne
Gallagher (switched to the gallops). But he's been an instant
success. His good thing of the night can be backed with
confidence. Another who is a good gamble with his multiples
selections.
GREYHOUNDS
Gary Manning
Long been regarded as the best judge at the dogs.
A group of punters at the Georges River Sailing Club started
a punters clubs a few months back. They have one bet a week
- Gary's good thing at Richmond on Friday nights. They're
a mile in front.
Gary also tips every Thursday at Dapto and has a huge following.
